Tom Jonard's Cosmology Pages

In Edward Harrison's Cosmology (Cambridge University Press, 1981) the author asks in the title of the first chapter, "What is Cosmology".  It is a question already answered in the books subtitle:  The Science of the Universe.  And yet that is not all to be said for it begs the question, "What is the Cosmos (or Universe) that we seek to study or understand in this science?"  One answer to be found at the end of Harrison's first paragraph is that it "is the harmonious whole that is reality".  This is a big subject and this book is the best place to find a good introduction to this science of everything.

Imagine the Universe -- a provocitive description of where we are in the Big Bang.
